My name is Cindy Lee Johnson and I am a freelance make-up artist
working in Angelina county and the surrounding areas.

I originally began my interest in makeup at a young age, but it wasn't until I lost my job and moved back to my hometown before I began to think about what I really wanted to do with my life. I knew it wasn't sitting behind a desk answering phone calls and doing data entry. Then one day it just hit me, life is too short not to do what you love. So I thought about the things I love, and which of those I could make a living. Makeup artistry seemed like the clear choice.

With some help of the internet, I made what was to be one of my best decisions to attend classes at CMC (California Makeup Classes) in Dallas where I worked with and learned from many talented artists; including Bobby Weiner aka Bloody Mary, the makeup designer of the movie Titanic (among many credits to her name.) Upon graduating, I received certifications in beauty, wedding, glamour, editorial, fashion, film & television, and special effects makeup. In October 2013 I attended
a Zombie Makeup class at DCC:Fan Days where I learned techniques from RJ Haddy who appeared on Sci Fi's of Face Off.

My goal for this business is for it to grow and to be able to build a reputation for professionalism in the area which I live and intend to be doing most of my work.

My hope in joining this site is to find others with like interests (photographers, models, other artists) who would wish to work with me in our career building.
I am ready to work but I am mostly looking to trade for time and photos in order
to build a strong portfolio.
